We are looking for a student of Physics, Telecommunications Bachelor or Electronics Engineer in the 2nd or 3rd year who wants to improve his knowledge in MATLAB and sensors.

+ Which Silicon-cell Pyranometer model do I need?

All SP-100, SP-200, and MP series silicon-cell pyranometers use the same silicon-cell detector. The model number you need depends on which output is compatible with your datalogger. Model numbers are listed below with their output:

SP-110: 0 to 350 mV = 0 to 1750 W m-2

Note: You must use the 32-bit version of Data Acquisition Toolbox and MATLAB to use Keithley KUSB data acquisition devices. The 32-bit versions of Data Acquisition Toolbox and MATLAB can be installed on a 64-bit Windows OS.

  1. I am interested in this project. I am studying telecommunication engineer.
    I could spend a little time every afternoon except Mondays from 17:30 to 18:30 and Wednesday from 15:30 to 18:30. I could start after February exams.

    It is a pleasure to read that you are interested in this Student Project.
    I have uploaded new information for you.
    Now you have the Acquisition module PDF file that you have to read before you use the module with MATLAB, and also information about the measurement technique and sensor datasheet.

    Inform us the first day you are going to come to the LAB once you have read the informatio. I think it would be helpfully if you print some parts of the PDF file to discuss with us during the start-up time.

  3. I want participate in this project.
    I could work 8 hours per week more or less after the February’s exams. Between 8:30 and 10 o’clock fron Monday to Thusrday and from 12 to 14 the Fridays.
